Hi! I am an unemployed mother to two children (18yr and 17mo) and need your help. In my 22 year career history, I have never been to this point where I am asking for help from strangers. I work hard, providing for my family until the company I was working for decided to "restructure" management last September and I was let go. The nest egg is gone, and unemployment is about to run out.
I am currently working odd jobs to keep my family together and food on the table. I do not get state assistance. I am seeking your help and will keep track of who you are, to repay your kindness once I start working again full time. Can you spare $5?
Why only $5 you ask, well if I am able to get $5 from 100 people it will be enough to pay my rent and utilities for this month. If more give, then there is extra to pay medical bills, extra groceries, emergencies etc.
